My son bought me a small Aloe Vera plant about 6 years ago for Mother's Day, just a tiny one...
Since then, it has out done itself...growing and sprouting babies again and again.
Two years ago, much to my surprise, it FLOWERED! I'd never seen that in Tennessee before...maybe you have, but I had to look it up on the Internet. Apparently the plant has to be really happy to flower!
Now, two years later...my little aloe plant is doing it again!
I'm thinking by the end of the week, it will be at max bloom...I'll post another pic then, but here's what the plant looks like today!
The flower looks very similar to my fire poker lillies, that are a few weeks away from their bloom...here's one from the garden today...
