Ok, I'd been seeing those expensive tables in several specialty magazines for our dog, Hershey. Hershey is a big dog, 110 to 120 pounds, and when I would put his food bowl on the floor he was having some difficulty...so here's what I came up with...a much cheaper alternative!
I went to a local junk store and got one of the old end tables my grandparents used to own. I took his food and water bowls and traced them around the top (making the cuts slightly smaller so they don't fall through). My darling hubby cut out the holes for me. A couple of coats of paint later and success! $6 total investment.
